The Foundation focuses on the importance of Marine Conservation and the building of coral farms, that would nurture several healthy coral species to be placed in identified sites that are damaged. Moreover, rejuvenating the mangrove will also be on the forefront as this will also be a major catalyst to providing a safe haven and more so, a healthy breeding ground.
We currently have 2 locations in Fiji. That have been identified for our coral nurseries. Two kindergarten playgrounds we are going to outfit and villages we intend to LIGHT UP, literally. By installing solar powered street lights throughout.
The core of our success is the integration of the locals in our programs and its sustainability for our future generations.

Lesuma Foundation is about Marine Conservation and Education. Moreover, rejuvenating the mangrove will also be on the forefront as this will also be a major catalyst to providing a safe haven and more so, a healthy breeding ground. It is imperative that we educate our future generations, in schools, villages, maritime islands on the significance of Marine Conservation and its preservation. The maintenance of our ecosystem through educating our future generations on how to cater for our oceans and cultivating the knowledge on Marine Conservation. In this development, we are laying the ‘Foundation’ for the future. An ocean occupied by a blooming healthy variety of corals, engulfed by an array of marine life.Initially, an intensive assessment was carried out to identify areas that required conserving.
Corresponding nurseries are built in controlled areas with restricted access, in-turn would allow the corals to thrive in its natural habitat without the interference from the locals. Once at the optimum growth, it is then transplanted. Where it is monitored and its progression is well documented.Fiji, an archipelago in the heart of the Pacific Ocean. On the third largest island, on the fringes is the village of Qeleni. One of the two main Conservation sites. Across the Bay on the neighboring island of Vanua Levu hosts the second conservation site – is the village of Nawi. The Lesuma Foundation with its investors, in a consolidated effort are securing a brighter future for all and the generations to come. The great impact on the islands brought by reviving our corals and marine life, will definitely have a positive trickle down effect. From a wide range of healthy coral to a vigorous breeding haven.Ultimately, assisting in the fight against Climate Change. It’s imperative that we play our role and promote the Conservation of Marine and ensure it thrives for our future.
